The RX 7600 utilizes 6nm technology and is built on the AMD RDNA 3.0 architecture. It supports DirectX 12 Ultimate and incorporates AMD Radeon Super Resolution and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR3). The card is based on the Navi 33 graphics processor, which includes 13,300 million transistors within a 204 mm2 die. It features 64 Render Output Units (ROPs), 128 texture mapping units, 2048 shading units, and 32 ray tracing acceleration cores. With a typical board power of 165W, the card tested by Labs is manufactured by AMD and has a dual slot, dual fan design that fits in most computer cases. The graphics card supports 4K H264, H265/HEVC, and AV1 decode and encode. It supports a range of AMD features and technologies to enhance overall performance and visual quality.
The RX 7600 graphics card delivered impressive 1080p gaming performance and performed decently at 1440p. In our tests, it ranked high in overall gaming charts and synthetic tests, offering comparable performance to NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX 4060 in some gaming and synthetic benchmarks. However, its ray tracing capabilities are below average, as expected.
