Built on advanced 5nm technology and AMD RDNA 3 architecture, the RX 7900 XT supports DirectX 12 Ultimate and features AMD Radeon Super Resolution and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution 3 (FSR3). It excels in 1080p and 1440p gaming, built on the Navi 31 graphics processor and 57,700 million transistors within a 529 mm2 die. The card includes 192 Render Output Units (ROPs), 336 texture mapping units, 5376 shading units, and 192 ray tracing acceleration cores. With a typical board power of 300W, the card tested by Labs is manufactured by AMD and features a two and a half slot, triple fan design that fits in most computer cases. In the Box it includes the graphics card and a warranty card.

The RX 7900 XT supports 4K H264, H265/HEVC, and AV1 decode and encode. It supports a range of AMD features and technologies to enhance overall performance and visual quality.
The RX 7900 XT graphics card performed really well at 1080p and 1440p. In our testing, it ranked top of the charts for gaming, and very close to the top for raytracing. It performed really well during the synthetics portion of the tests, and a bit lower in productivity tests. Overall, our tests indicated that the RX 7900 XT mostly outperforms all of the cards in our testing, including the RTX 4070 SUPER series.
