The RX 6950 XT performed well above average in gaming and synthetic tests, though only average in ray tracing. It is comparable to the Radeon RX 7900 GRE.
The RX 6950 XT utilizes 7nm technology and is built on the AMD RDNA 2.0 architecture. It supports DirectX 12 Ultimate, AMD Radeon Super Resolution, and AMD FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR3). The card is based on the Navi 21 graphics processor, which includes 26,800 million transistors within a 520 mm2 die. It features 128 Render Output Units (ROPs), 320 texture mapping units, 5120 shading units, and 80 ray tracing acceleration cores. With a typical board power of 340W, this partner card by MSI has a two and a half slot, triple fan design that fits in most computer cases. In the Box, it includes the graphics card, stand/support bracket, and user guides.
This MSI features TORX Fan 4.0, which are pairs of fan blades working together to create better airflow control. As well it features RGB Mystic Light allowing the user to control the RGB lighting on this card.

The RX 6950 XT supports 4K H264, H265/HEVC, and AV1 decode. It supports a range of AMD features and technologies to enhance overall performance and visual quality.
The RX 6950 XT graphics card performed really well at 1080p and 1440p gaming. Although it performed better in synthetics testing, it ranked towards the middle of the ray tracing, and Cinebench charts as expected. Overall, our tests revealed that the RX 6950 XT performed well above average in most tests, comparable to the Radeon RX 7900 GRE.
