The Cooler Master CK720 includes the keyboard, a braided detachable USB-C to USB-A cable, a keycap and switch puller, and user documentation. The keyboard's construction features a removable aluminum top plate and a plastic body, with a dedicated latch for easy removal of the top plate.
Additionally, it comes equipped with a silicone padding plate dampener to reduce hollow typing sounds, enhancing the overall feel and sound of the keystrokes. The PBT double-shot, shine-through keycaps are Cherry profile, and the keyboard also features a 3-way customizable multimedia knob for added functionality.

The CK720 is compatible with Cooler Master's MasterPlus+ software, which works on both Windows and macOS. Though it does not support QMK or VIA customization, the software provides options for RGB per-key mapping, customizable lighting modes, and programmable macros, giving users a range of personalization options to enhance their experience.
The CK720 is equipped with hot-swappable Kailh Box V2 mechanical switches, available in linear Red, clicky White, and tactile Brown variants. in testing, the Kailh Box V2 Brown switches performed with an operating force of 39.5 gf, 1.99 mm of pre-travel, and 3.75 mm of total travel.
In terms of latency, the keyboard delivered above average performance, clocking 16.4 ms in wired mode. While the latency is not groundbreaking, it is sufficient for most users, particularly in non-gaming applications.
Although the CK720 does not include a wrist rest, it compensates with three adjustable incline angles of 4°, 7°, and 8° to accommodate user preferences. It also offers anti-ghosting and N-key rollover, ensuring that all key presses are accurately registered even during fast typing or gaming sessions, making it a solid choice for productivity.
