WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
THE GOOD
- Latency
The K70 PRO TKL has low latency and an 8000 Hz polling rate, ideal for pro gamers who need fast, responsive performance.
- Compact Size
The tenkeyless layout provides extra desk space while maintaining full-size navigation keys, balancing compactness and functionality.
- Sound
Corsair replaced foam padding with silicone, making the keyboard quieter during use.
THE BAD
- Price
At $179 USD MSRP, the keyboard uses ABS keycaps by default. Corsair charges an additional $10 USD for PBT keycaps, which may not be appealing given the premium pricing.
THE REST
- Overall
The K70 PRO TKL is an upgraded model from the existing K70 TKL line, offering improved speed and sound dampening. However, it remains one of the most expensive models in the K70 lineup, which may deter those looking for a more budget-friendly option.
The Corsair K70 PRO TKL includes a braided, detachable USB Type-C to Type-A cable, a magnetic cushioned wrist rest, and user documentation. It has a plastic chassis with an aluminum top plate, providing rigidity during intense gaming sessions. The keyboard comes with two keycap options: ABS (standard) and PBT (optional upgrade).
As the successor to the K70 CORE TKL and K70 CORE TKL WIRELESS, the K70 PRO TKL enhances sound dampening by replacing the foam layers used in previous models with two layers of silicone pads, resulting in quieter keystrokes.
