The Fnatic Streak65 LP is a low-profile, wired mechanical keyboard designed primarily for gamers but versatile enough for a range of users. It features a sturdy aluminum frame and linear switches.
With its minimalistic aesthetics, this design may appeal to users outside of the gaming community as well. One potential downside though, are the relatively loud switches, which may not be ideal for office environments.
Priced at $119.99 USD on the Fnatic webstore, the Streak65 LP occupies the mid-tier range of mechanical keyboards. It is available in both ANSI and ISO layouts, as well as two color options: black and white. The 65% layout provides ample desk space for mouse movement, and the included coiled, braided cable adds a premium touch, enhancing desk aesthetics.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
THE GOOD
- Design
Available in black and white colorways, the sleek minimalistic design, along with the included braided and coiled cable adds to the appeal.
THE BAD
- Customization
It is not hot-swappable, the FNATIC SPEED switches (Kailh Choc V2 switches with a different stem color) are soldered in. While the all-aluminum frame adds to its durability, it also makes the keyboard difficult to open for mods, restricting customization.
THE REST
- Overall
The Fnatic Streak65 LP is an upgrade from its predecessor the Streak65 with its new white color option, coil cable, additional layer of sound dampening foam, and PBT keycaps. Its simple design makes it a good option for gamers and non-gamers alike.
The Fnatic Streak65 LP comes with minimal accessories. In the Box, you'll find the keyboard itself, a detachable coiled and braided USB-C to USB-A cable, and user documentation. Its aluminum frame contributes to its durability while keeping it lightweight.
The keyboard features PBT double-shot, shine-through keycaps, which offer a textured feel. However, despite the inclusion of an extra layer of sound-dampening foam, the frameless design, combined with the aluminum frame and switch resistance, may result in a slight rattle and echo. On the other hand, the frameless design allows for more RGB illumination, which can be a significant factor for users who prioritize lighting effects.

The Streak65 LP is compatible with Fnatic OP software, which supports Windows, macOS, PS4/5, and Xbox platforms. Although the keyboard does not offer QMK or VIA customization, it comes with programmable macro keys, various RGB lighting effects, a function layer, and 8 MB of onboard memory.
The per-key RGB backlighting allows for complete customization of illumination to match your personal preferences or setup.
Equipped with FNATIC Speed (low-profile) switches - essentially Kailh Choc V2 mechanical switches with an orange stem - the Streak65 LP is built for performance. While these switches are not hot-swappable, they offer an operating force of 42.76 gf, with 1.19 mm of pre-travel and 3.29 mm of total travel.
In terms of latency, the keyboard delivers an above average latency of 9.4 ms in wired mode. Labs found that despite being linear switches, their resistance and sturdiness give them a tactile-like typing feel.
While the Streak65 LP does not come with a wrist rest, it features two incline angles - 2° and 6° - which can be adjusted to suit user preferences. Its low-profile design ensures good ergonomics, making it comfortable for extended gaming sessions. Additionally, it supports anti-ghosting and key rollover, ensuring that all key presses register accurately, even during intense gaming or fast typing.
