The Keychron K2 (Version 2) is equipped with Gateron G Pro mechanical switches, available in three types: linear Red, tactile Brown, and clicky Blue. Labs tested the Brown tactile version, which delivered an operating force of 38.53 gf, 2.65 mm of pre-travel, and 4.14 mm of total travel.

In terms of latency, the keyboard provided above-average performance with 17.7 ms in wired mode. While the higher latency may not suit gamers, it performs well enough for general productivity and non-gaming applications.

Although the Keychron K2 (Version 2) does not come with a wrist rest, it offers three adjustable incline angles—5°, 11°, and 12°—allowing users to customize the typing experience based on personal preference.
