The Apex Pro Mini Wireless includes a braided detachable USB-C to USB-A cable, a USB-C 2.4GHz dongle, a keycap puller, a wireless extensions adapter, and a user manual. Constructed with an aluminum top plate and a plastic frame, it features plate-mounted stabilizers. The keyboard comes with PBT double-shot, shine-through keycaps in a Cherry profile.

The Apex Pro Mini Wireless is equipped with SteelSeries GG software, compatible with both Windows and MacOS, although it does not support QMK or VIA customization. The keyboard has per-key RGB backlighting and illumination.
Its featured 2-in-1 action keys can be programmed to perform two distinct actions, such as a light press for walking and a deep press for sprinting in a game. Users can customize the 2-in-1 key binds, per-key RGB illumination, and custom actuation points within the SteelSeries Engine.

The SteelSeries OmniPoint 2.0 Adjustable HyperMagnetic switches are magnetic switches that use the Hall Effect for precise actuation measurement. The OmniPoint 2.0 Adjustable HyperMagnetic switches have an operating force of 46.4gf, 2.12mm of pre-travel, and 4.2mm of total travel. The Apex Pro Mini Wireless has a low keyboard latency, averaging 8.19 ms when used in wireless receiver mode.
The Apex Pro Mini Wireless does not include a wrist rest and offers two incline angles at 7° and 11° for ergonomics. Testing revealed that while the typing angle is acceptable, the high profile may cause strain during extended use.
