The Super Flower LEADEX III Gold 750W is a 750W, fully modular ATX 2.32 power supply with additional hybrid fan modes, launched with a MSRP of $129.99 USD.
Its modular design offers flexible cable management, ensuring a neat and clutter-free build. During testing Labs discovered that there is a discrepancy to the listed fan size, as it was measured to be 120mm, rather than the advertised 130mm.
Despite this slight marketing discrepancy, we recommend the LEADEX III Gold 750W because of its low voltage ripple, and resilience to brownouts.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
THE GOOD
- Cables
The included cables are mostly sleeved and are very flexible.
- Resiliency
It is very resilient to brownouts, making it an excellent choice if power reliability is a concern.
THE BAD
- Fan Size
The advertised fan size is 130 mm, however Labs found during testing that the fan size is 120 mm.
- Efficiency
Throughout our testing it showed that it did not always meet 80PLUS Gold requirements at 100% load.
THE REST
- Overall
We recommend the LEADEX III Gold 750W for its low voltage ripple, and resilience to brownouts. It meets expectations for its price point.
The Super Flower LEADEX III Gold 750W is an ATX form factor power supply. In the Box, it includes sufficient accessories, with sleeved insulated cables that are very flexible. It includes additional accessories such as a cable bag, but lacks a 12VHPWR cable or connector, limiting the GPU compatibility to lower powered or slightly older models.
As aforementioned, the fan is listed to be 130mm. However during Labs testing, we measured the fluid dynamic bearing fan to be 120mm. This should not affect the operation of the power supply, though it is important to note considering the large discrepancy in size.
This power supply follows the ATX 2.32 standard, an updated revision made in May 2020. It improves upon the ATX 2.31 revision, which was introduced in February 2008. The ATX 2.31 revision added a maximum allowed ripple/noise specification to the PWR_ON and PWR_OK signals, requiring the DC power to maintain stability for a longer duration.
The power ratings and specifications align with expectations for this price range. On the Super Flower specifications webpage it specifies that it passed the 50°C testing, though we cannot verify this through testing.

The LEADEX III Gold 750W features an ‘Auto’ fan mode and two additional ‘ECO’ hybrid fan modes. These modes can be selected with a physical switch on the rear of the power supply.
The LEADEX III Gold 750W is equipped with all standard protections, and a 10-year warranty as expected for a power supply of this class. All of the protections were present, with the -12V rail reaching a new limit of 300% that we have added for the -12V rail and 5Vsb rail.
The Super Flower LEADEX III Gold 750W showed competent performance in tests. Throughout its full rated output power range of 750W, there was a 0.152V voltage drop on the 12V rail, which is within ATX specifications and similar to most other power supplies we’ve tested.
The PSU meets ATX ripple specifications with very low ripple, the peak-to-peak signal ripple of the fully loaded 12V rail measuring 22 mV. The 5V and 3.3V rails had a signal ripple of 16 mV and 21 mV respectively.
Excursion tests are required for ATX 3.0 or higher power supplies, and while this unit is ATX 2.32, conducting these tests are still relevant for modern systems. While we did perform excursion tests on the power supply, they were done at the reduced ATX 3.0 excursion levels. These are specified for power supplies with a maximum wattage less than 450W, or that do not have a 12VHPWR/12V-2x6 connector. These excursions use the same timing as the standard set, but only go up to 150% of the rated load instead of 200%. With these tests it had no problem complying across all of the rails and tests.

The Super Flower LEADEX III Gold 750W is rated at 80PLUS Gold, achieving 90% efficiency at 50% of its maximum rated load. This is adequate, though not outstanding and lower than similar class power supplies. Throughout our testing it showed that it did not always meet 80PLUS Gold requirements at the 100% load point.
It is very resilient to brownouts, withstanding a 20 ms dropout at full rated load for both 115V and 230V inputs. At an 80% load and varying temperature ranges, it survived all of our brownout durations which go up to 26 ms.
The Over Power Protection activated at a maximum of 131% of the rated load, while the 12V rail alone is capable of 80A, or 128% of its rating. This provides reasonable protection against component faults and allows for minor draw exceedances beyond the official rating.
