AMD released the Radeon RX 7600 XT on January 24th, 2024, targeting 1080p gaming performance, and equipping it with 16GB of memory for potential 1440p gaming. It supports AMD's Adrenalin Edition software for video upscaling and streaming quality enhancements, along with AMD's Fidelity FX Super Resolution 3 (FSR 3).
The GPU is available through AMD partners such as Acer, ASRock, ASUS, Gigabyte, PowerColor, Sapphire, and XFX, with a starting MSRP of $329 USD, which is $100 USD less than the launch price of the RTX 4060 Ti in May 2023. The Radeon RX 7600 XT is designed with sufficient VRAM for applications and future game requirements, aiming for an affordable 1080p gaming experience, though achieving 1440p may require compromises in upscaling technologies or graphics settings.

The AMD Radeon RX 7600 XT graphics card offers gaming at 1080p and higher. From testing, we found that this RX 7600 XT trails behind the RTX 4060Ti 16GB consistently across the game suite at 1080p, and this gap widens at 1440p. However, we also compared the Intel Arc A770 alongside the RX 7600 XT and RTX 4060 Ti and found that the RX 7600 XT sits almost evenly between the other two GPUs in this testing.
We will periodically retest graphics cards with updated drivers. We continuously monitor and update our results for accuracy. Stay tuned for the latest test results and insights on this product and others as we aim to provide up-to-date information on a consistent basis.
We actively address test bench variance in our evaluation process. Our methodology involves validation and calibration procedures to ensure consistency and reliability across all tests. By monitoring and controlling variables such as hardware configurations, ambient temperatures, and system settings, we minimize potential sources of variance that could affect our results. This detailed approach enables us to deliver the most objective and accurate assessments.
