Ten months ago we launched the beta version of this site.[1]

Today we’re excited to roll out the biggest update in site functionality so far, overhauling our navigation & comparison tools to make it easier to find the perfect part for your next build.

Now if you’re trying to find a reliable SFX power supply or figure out which small graphics card will get you the most memory from our dataset, it’s quick and easy to do so.

You'll notice a lot of improvements to the site, big & small but here's a quick tour of the major ones:

Product category navigation has been completely rewritten to allow you to sort & filter by important product data

Keyboards / GPUs / PSUs / Mice

  • Add products individually to your comparison bin with the + at the end of their row

  • Filter down to 6 or fewer products to add them all to your comparison bin together

  • Use breadcrumbs to quickly traverse in & out of filters

  • Switch between small & large views of images in table mode

  • Hover over images in the table to see larger previews

  • Hide filters to make the most of your screen space

The updated comparison page now allows you to highlight differences between selected products and adapts better across screen & comparison bin sizes

  • Use the "Highlight Differences" button to compare against a reference product

  • Add as many products to your bin as you'd like, reference product values will stay visible as you scroll

  • Graph up to 6 products at the same time

  • Expand the photos & notes per section as needed

  • Jump quickly to sections using the table of contents that'll stick with you as you scroll

  • New multi-product views for PSU cables & power ratings make comparison easier

Product cards now have tags that will allow you to see important details at a glance and jump directly to similar products

Search is also more responsive/reliable/relevant (this rolled out late 2024, hopefully you’ve been noticing improvements)

We’re not out of the beta phase yet so please send any feedback our way, but we’re really excited to make our data more accessible to you all in this way.

Stay tuned for our next post where we’ll be talking more about the tools & technical decisions that have gone into this first phase of the Labs Website build, and maybe some leaks of upcoming functionality…?
